Scott Gallacher, Executive Director of Key Pen Parks moved a lot of dirt to get Gateway Park ready for its Sept. 30 grand opening. Scott will discuss the new park and other work underway by the Parks District, and
Rob Manahan, Peninsula School District Superintendent, will give us a back-to-school report. (Rand Wilhelmson had agreed to appear, but had a conflict, so Mr. Manahan will be our “substitute.” Superintendent Manahan is shaking up the PSD with the new Facility Committee and other new ideas he has brought to the District.
Bremerton Municipal Court Judges James N. Docter will be Sworn In; and then will administer the Oath of Office for the following:

Michael Goodnow, Council Member, District 5
Patricia Sullivan, Council Member, District 1
Eric Younger, Council Member, District 7
and

All citizens are cordially invited and welcome to attend. Cake and coffee will be served.
We’re holding two Precinct Committee Officer and Volunteer Canvass trainings. Bring your laptops and smartphones and we’ll give you one-on-one training on how to cut turf and use mini-van. We encourage all PCOs to attend. The more seasoned canvassing pros can share their experience with the newer PCOs and canvassers.
Feel free to bring a friend or two. See you there!
