Pen Met Parks Appreciation Day with the 26th LD Democrats
Save the date: April 25, 2015 9 AM Rotary Bark Park, Gig Harbor WA
The 26th LD Democrats are signed up to help with trail maintenance on the 25th of April at Rotary Bark Park located across the street from McCormick Forest Park. Check in will be at McCormick Forest Park at 9:00 am where we will get instructions and a few tools. Volunteers are encouraged to bring loppers, bush cutters, shovels, and rakes if they have them. Please bring work clothes and gloves as well. There will be a hot dog lunch at Sehmel Homestead Park at noon.
McCormick Forest Park is located at 10301 Bujacich Rd NW, Gig Harbor, WA. It is across the street from the Bujacich fire station and down the street from the Women’s Prison.
After cleanup we will carpool or follow each other to Sehmel Homestead Parkwhich is just down the hill from McCormick Forest Park for lunch.
We look forward to seeing you! The parks are beautiful and with our help, the trails will be ready for spring and summer visitors. Thank you so much for everything you do and we look forward to seeing you there!
