Adison Richards was elected to represent the 26th District in the State House in November 2024. He is vice chair of the Housing committee and serves on the Ag & Natural Resources and Transportation committees.
Adison grew up in the 26th and has lived in every part of the district; from Fox Island to Bremerton, Gig Harbor to the Key Peninsula. He graduated from Peninsula High where his mom has been a teacher, and he worked his dad’s landscaping business digging irrigation trenches.
After becoming a lawyer, Adison came back and worked for the Northwest Justice Project where he served survivors of crime, like domestic violence and human trafficking, who couldn’t afford a lawyer. He most recently worked at Kitsap Legal Services in housing law continuing to serve those struggling to make ends meet.
I’m passionate about giving back to our community. I volunteer with the Rotary Club, Harbor History Museum, Bremerton NAACP, Gig Harbor Sister Cities Council, Awesome Praise, Down Home Band on the Key Peninsula, and as a Peninsula High School Cross Country Coach.
