September 2017 Meeting: LOCATION CHANGE

The 26th LD Democrats will hold our September monthly meeting on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 7 PM at the Key Peninsula Civic Center, 17010 S Vaughn Rd KP N, Vaughn 98394 (Whitmore Room). Social/Dinner begins at 6:30 PM with the meeting called to order at 7 PM. This month’s meeting includes various speakers, and we’ll be finishing up our endorsements/approvals for the November general election. Come See the 26th LD Democrats at the Bremerton Blackberry Festival!

Come visit the 26th LD Democrats at the 2017 Bremerton Blackberry Festival. Our booth, co-sponsored with the Kitsap County Democrats, will feature information about our organizations. You’ll also get to meet some of our endorsed candidates. Come take a picture with Uncle Sam and Aunt Betsy. Best of all, come meet with some Democrats! See you at the Blackberry Festival!

The Bremerton Blackberry Festival will take place Saturday September 2nd through Monday September 4th, 2017 in downtown Bremerton at the boardwalk. The festival is hosted by the Bremerton Rotary Foundation.

Our ideals of freedom and justice are crumbling under the weight of powerful interests with their own self-serving objectives and a “you’re on your own” mentality for the rest of us. These interests threaten our families, our communities and our values.

BUILD a strong economy from the middle class out (not “trickle-down”), where middle class families with money in their pockets create a stronger America.

STAND UP for strong communities. Every family has a right to clean air and drinking water, good food, health, and a safe place to call home.

RESPECT the inherent dignity and equality of every human being regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, income, or sexual orientation.

INVEST in strong public schools to open the doors to decent jobs, a secure retirement, and ladders of opportunity for all our children to succeed.

PROTECT our children, seniors, and veterans. Make sure they are defended and supported, not left to fend for themselves.
