Fighting For The Future
It’s time to focus our fight where we can have the most impact. We aligned as a membership on these three main goals for 2025.
We can work together in the WA 26th Legislative District to:
- Elect Deb Krishnadasan to State Senate this November
- Build the bench of Democratic candidates
- Keep the 26th Legislative District connected
Elect Deb to State Senate
Special election this November against incumbent Republican representative.
What we are doing:
- The 26th Democrats will be working with Deb’s campaign staff, staff from the Senate Democrats committee, and State party to attend events, canvas our district, phone bank, and attend and host fundraisers.
- We, Deb and her campaign staff will provide monthly updates on the campaign.
How can you help us?

- Share her posts to your followers and extend her reach in the community.

- Attend town halls and community events where Deb will be speaking
- Offer to host a garden party or home fundraiser
- Come canvas or phone bank with us.
- Contribute financially to her campaign if you are able.
Build the Bench
What we are doing:
- LD26 leaders and members are working closely with elected officials and community to identify first-time and re-elected candidates.
- We support candidates with tools and techniques for running a campaign and through volunteer hours.
- We have revamped our endorsement questionnaire and process and are looking down ballot to make sure we have future candidates engaged in committees or other activities.
- We proactively reach out to community leaders that share our views.
How can you help us?
- Do you know someone that would be a good candidate now or in the future?
- Do you or someone you know have an interest in serving on a local committee or council?
- Contact a member of the endorsement committee and we will work with individuals to get them connected and supported. If you need help figuring out if you want to run for office come and talk to us.
Keep the 26 LD Connected
What we are doing:
- We have updated our website 26d.org to help you stay in the know and who to contact for an elected official or their staff.
- We are keeping our social media channels up to date with shareable information, including sharing messages from candidates, partner orgs like Indivisible, and other Democratic organizations. We are on Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky at this time.
- Working to establish zoom / hybrid meetings for our monthly general meetings on-going.
