Q: What is the 26th Legislative District Democratic Organization; and why does it exist?
A: The 26th Legislative District Democratic Organization or 26th LD Democrats are a society of concerned citizens who come together monthly (or more often) to resolve issues important to residents of the 26th Legislative District of Washington State. One of our primary charges is to find, promote, and elect two good Democrats to represent the 26th LD as representatives to the state house and one good Democrat to represent the 26th Legislative District in the state senate. We also promote and elect good Democrats to other offices within Kitsap and Pierce County.

A: The 26th Legislative District (LD) is a proportional geopolitical area encompassing all of the Gig Harbor and Key Peninsulas along with much of downtown Bremerton and surrounding developments. The 26th LD sends one senator and two representatives to the Washington State Legislature.

Our organization knows representatives do not just happen, they must be identified, promoted, and elected.
